Adam's Eve played in the Beer Garden at the Dodge County Fair in Kasson, MN on Saturday. Since it was at a county fair, we played outdoors which meant plenty of mosquitos. Somewhere in the third set, I looked over at Brad (AE lead guitarist) and he's shaking his arm like it's on fire. On June 16th, 2003, I agreed to terms with Rochester-based rock and roll band, Adam's Eve. Where has Bobo been?
Well, here I am. Bandless, friendless, and gainfully employed in Rochester. (That's Rochester, MINNESOTA!)
It's almost summer in MN, so I've enjoyed my stay so far. I hear winter's are colder than... well... very cold. (Can you say "30-BELOW ZERO?" I thought you could...)

Bad night. Played to about 6 people including a very attractive female bartenderess.
My guitar chops were off and Frank threw a tizzy-tantrum. (I came within about 2 songs of hangin' up the guitar with the Happy-Time Jam Band.)

On the first Thursday of every other month, Bobo Bonzai sits in with the Boothe Bros. Blues Host Band. Yesterday was no different.
Very fun.
This week's host band consisted of me (Bobo) on bass and lead vocals, Guy Golightly and Bruce Murdock on guitar, Todd Mitchell on drums, and DB on saxaphone. Ah, LaCasa.
New management. New competition up the street. Same old rockin' fun.
The Friday night gig was slow, but we pulled a lot of songs outta our butts. Plus, it was Terry's (Blues Highway's guitar player) 40th birthday. Man, that old fart can PLAY! Cake, black balloons and good rock and roll. A fun night for the band.

This is the blog for reminiscing about the gigs from the previous week(s). Currently, I (Bobo) play in three bands: Blues Highway, Wave O' Blues, and Bobo Bonzai and the Happy-Time Jam Band. Each band plays occasionally and I wanted a forum to recap the experience.
